Friendly Telephone Manners Goes A Long Way to Increasing Dental Bookings
Have you ever called an office and been greeted by a staff member who sounded short-tempered, out of sorts or just plain harried? Didn't make you feel especially welcome, did it?
When patients calling for appointments get the impression that your staff has better things to do than to talk with them, they are likely to take their business elsewhere. At minimum, they will feel less comfortable about keeping your staff members on the line to answer questions, and that poses a real danger to the success of your practice.
The reverse is also true–staff members who make patients feel that answering their questions is the most important and enjoyable part of the workday will increase your dental bookings simply because the people calling i will feel liked and appreciated.
So be certain that everyone on your dental staff is aware of the importance of a friendly and warm telephone manner and of the benefits it brings to your office.
