Offering Direct Customer Service from your Website
If you haven’t already begun using the Internet to increase the customer services your office offers, there’s no better time than the present. Professional practices all across the country are either already offering live customer help via such Internet services as BoldChat.com and LivePerson.com or gearing up to do so in the near future.
“Live chat” isn’t the only web-based way to improve service to customers, either. Many offices now have a dedicated email inbox for customer service that is flagged to alert office personnel that they need to respond to queries and problems that arrive in that mailbox immediately.
A third Internet for improving customer service is using the web-based phone service Skype.
Whichever Internet methods you choose should be emphasized on your website. And by all means, have someone write a press release announcing that your office has chosen to use these methods to improve the quality of service it provides. Be sure to keep the press release accessible on your website as well, in an area specially designated for articles and news. Remember, if you don’t tell the world what you have to offer, no one else will, either!
